Happy Monday! I've been adding more #fromwhereistand outfit of the day photos to my Instagram feed and they have been pretty popular. I recently spent a few days vacationing in Niagara-On-The-Lake and I enjoyed some downtime at the resort pool. The Pillar and Post is my favourite place to stay and I highly recommend it. {THONG SANDALS | STRAW TOTE BAG}

Pinterest is without a doubt the number one place I find the best inspiration for fashion, home design & decor, travel, beauty and more. A fresh way to create an open wardrobe, especially when you don't have a closet in your bedroom.

I love this blue shirt dress and tan wedge sandals! This look is perfect for weekend brunch and flower shopping. I found a similar style dress here and wedges here.

How dreamy is this chic Parisian apartment balcony!? I can picture myself enjoying coffee and a croissant there every morning.

This pale grey kitchen is making me reconsider my undying love for white kitchens! I'm in love with those marble countertops, stainless steel apron front sink and tall black framed windows.

Rompers are still going strong this summer and I love this blue floral style paired with that classic tan leather Gucci Soho crossbody bag and floppy hat.

Off the shoulder tops and dresses are all the rage this summer, and this seersucker blue top  is perfectly paired with classic white skinny jeans.

This white kitchen with stone countertops and large centre island is made even more stunning by the natural wood panel detail surrounding the bank of windows.

Who wouldn't want to work in this lovely home office?! I'm lusting over that golden starburst chandelier, the geometric pattern ceiling and that royal blue velvet chair!

That striped off the shoulder open back dress is perfect for an Italian summer vacation. I found a cute open back striped dress here. 

This dramatic black & white feels very Parisian and fresh.

Summer in Wine Country

The Shaw Cafe - have you ever seen so many colourful flowers?!

Last week my significant other and I travelled to Niagara-On-The-Lake for a little summer getaway. It's one of our favourite places to visit and we go at least twice a year. It's just a short 90 minute drive from Toronto but feels like worlds away. We were so fortunate to have the most perfect summer weather while we were there despite the gloomy weather forecast (who wants to go wine tasting in the rain?). We enjoyed the warm sunshine while we walked around the quaint historic village (which was literally covered in the most colourful lush blooms, as you can see in my photos), visited a couple wineries and a brewery. We stopped in at Reif Estate Winery, Ravine Vineyard and the Oast House Brewery for tastings. I enjoy very dry white wines and both wineries had delicious options. My boyfriend loves good craft beer and he savoured the beer options at Oast House. While in Niagara-On-The-Lake we stayed the night at the highly rated Queen's Landing hotel, which is located just off the main street and has beautiful views of the water and harbour. I am a huge fan of this hotel because they provide lovely accommodations, incredible service, delectable food at their Tiara Restaurant and they offer many promotions throughout the year. Our little getaway to wine country was the perfect way to kick off the summer season and I look forward to returning soon. Cheers!

 The merlot vines at Reif Estate Winery

 Reif Estate Winery has become one of my favourite wineries to visit. I left with a bottle of their sauvignon blanc that will be perfect to drink this summer on my balcony.

I really enjoyed the wines at Ravine Vineyard. They have a highly rated restaurant in the building next door that I would love to try when I return in late fall.
