Season of the Sequin ~ Designing Gal
Michael Kors - Wrap Dress
You know that the holidays are right around the corner when the air starts to get frosty, the malls start putting up decorations and the holiday party invitations show up in your inbox.  The holidays always put me in a good mood and what really gets me excited is planning what I'll wear to holiday parties, Christmas dinners and of course, New Year's Eve. And what is on my party clothes shopping list this year? Sequins! It's the season of the sequin and you'll find them everywhere, in a variety of colours and styles, on skirts, dresses, tops, sweaters, scarfs, shoes and purses. My favourite look is the classic black sequin dress, like this stylish yet affordable option from Kensie.  If you are looking to stand out in a crowd you might enjoy this gorgeous gold sequin wrap dress from Michael Kors. But if you're not ready for an all over sequin look try paring one sequin piece with jeans, like this trendy grey sequin angora sweater from Le Chateau or this nude sequin tank from Joe Fresh. Wear a silk blouse with this sophisticated black sequin pencil skirt from Banana Republic. Sequins are adding holiday sparkle to heels, like this multi-coloured sequin pump from Nine West, and they are also showing up on designer handbags, like the popular Michael Kors Grayson Satchel. Hope these options inspire you to add glittery sequins to your wardrobe this holiday season and get ready to be the life of the party. Now I'm off to buy my outfit for an upcoming holiday party... can you guess what I'll be wearing? I'll give you a hint... it has sequins on it!
