I hope you are having a fabulous Labor Day (or Labour Day in Canada) and enjoying the last unofficial day of summer. And if you are like many people who follow that old "no white after Labor Day" fashion rule you are probably getting ready to pack up your white jeans for fall. Stop! We are breaking that antiquated rule and keeping our white jeans in our wardrobe rotation for a little while longer. There are still a number of weeks to go before the snow starts falling and there are so many ways to wear your white jeans without looking summery. I pulled together an inspiration board of photos from my Pinterest account to help you style your white jeans after Labor Day... pair them with suede booties or flats (like the very stylish lace up flats you see everywhere) and wear them with fall colours, like navy, olive, red, plum, blush, grey, black and camel. Stripes and plaid are on trend all year round and always look chic with white jeans. Adding a chambray shirt lets you do the denim on denim trend without looking like you are wearing a Canadian tuxedo. Then when the weather cools off pair your white jeans with tailored blazers, jean jackets, boyfriend cardigans, field jackets or knit sweaters. Breaking this fashion rule actually helps you get use out of items in your wardrobe over multiple seasons (all of these outfits will also look fantastic in the springtime). So don't be too hasty and keep those white jeans out of storage a little bit longer!
