And just like that, winter weather has arrived. It may still technically be fall but the temperatures in my neck of the woods have taken a bit of a nose dive and I found myself exchanging my light field jacket for thicker, warmer coats. I think this is the first time I've ever been truly excited for winter weather. I just want to get bundled up and feel that extra crisp air on my face while still feeling warm & toasty everywhere else. This outfit is the perfect example of keeping cozy & warm outdoors: the faux fur trimmed white parka from Joe Fresh is down filled, which keeps it lightweight while keeping you very warm. It also comes in black, has a figure flattering shape and is very affordable (especially for a real down filled jacket). I paired the parka with a J.Crew Factory orange plaid scarf & earmuffs plus a pair of warm, waterproof leather & rubber Sorel boots.
