Crate & Barrel Opens A New Location Just In Time For Holiday Decorating!

The holiday season is only eight weeks away and before we know it the snow will be falling and malls (and their parking lots) will be packed with shoppers. One of my favourite things about the holiday season is Christmas decorating.  Luckily one of my favourite furniture & decor destinations is opening up a new location just in time to indulge my holiday decorating needs. Crate & Barrel, which has been in the US for nearly 40 years, is a recent addition to Canada and on October 28th they are launching their third Canadian store near the popular Square One Mall in Mississauga.  Crate & Barrel is an interior decorator's dream that carries everything you could possible need to furnish and decorate your home in style.  They have a contemporary look that appeals to many and their furniture is sold at great price points.  I love to browse their wide range of kitchenware and home decor, from velvet accent pillows & modern candle holders to the best in glassware and cookware. 

'Jolly' Porcelain Salad Plate

Every year Crate & Barrel brings out a fabulous collection of holiday decor.  I had a chance to check out their online catalogue and pick a few of my new favourites to make your home sparkle for the season.  The 'Jolly' holiday dinnerware collection, with it's playful red and green design, will dress up any dinner table.  I would suggest buying just the salad plates and place them atop your white everyday dinnerware to add colour without going overboard.
